After breakfast, depart from Milan for Como. Upon arrival, board a public boat bound for Bellagio, where you can admire the magnificent scenery of Lake Como, its picturesque villages, and its elegant villas.

Arrival in Bellagio, one of the lake’s most iconic villages. Free time to stroll through the narrow streets and explore the small shops.

Dinner on your own. In the afternoon, return to Como by public boat, then continue by bus to Piedmont. Arrive in Turin in the late afternoon, check in at the hotel, and have dinner.

Breakfast. Guided tour of Turin, Italy’s first capital and former residence of the House of Savoy: grand squares, elegant arcades, and historic palaces. After breakfast, departure for Asti, an elegant Piedmontese city in the heart of Monferrato. A brief free exploration of the historic center, with its medieval alleys, ancient towers, the cathedral, and the squares that bear witness to the city’s historical significance. We’ll continue through the vineyard-dotted landscapes of Monferrato to visit magnificent historic cellars carved into the earth, known as the “Underground Cathedrals,” which are part of the “Vineyard Landscapes of Piedmont” UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Learn about the process of making Spumante wines using the Classic Method, followed by a tasting.

Early morning departure for Emilia-Romagna, a true paradise for food lovers. The day will begin with a tour of one of the world’s most famous Italian products: Parmigiano Reggiano DOP. Visit a traditional cheese factory to learn about the different stages of production and see the impressive aging rooms, followed by a tasting of Parmigiano Reggiano at various stages of aging.

We’ll continue on to the hills of Parma to visit a producer of Prosciutto di Parma DOP, followed by a tasting dinner featuring cured meats and local products.

Departure for Maranello and a tour of the Ferrari Museum, which traces the history of the legendary Prancing Horse brand through iconic cars, race cars, and innovations.

Depending on availability, a tour of a traditional acetaia to learn about the long aging process of authentic Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, including a tasting of different ages.

After breakfast, departure from Emilia-Romagna toward Tuscany. Along the way, stop in the Montecarlo di Lucca area to visit an olive farm and learn about the production methods for Tuscan extra-virgin olive oil, followed by a tasting dinner at the farm featuring local products.

Continue on to Montecatini Terme and check in at the hotel. In the afternoon, take the historic Montecatini funicular, which connects the spa town to the charming medieval village of Montecatini Alto.

After breakfast, departure for Siena. Guided tour of this extraordinary medieval city, including the Piazza del Campo, the narrow streets of the historic center, and the magnificent cathedral complex.

In the afternoon, we continue through the magnificent landscapes of the Tuscan countryside toward the Siena region.

In the afternoon, we’ll continue on to Pienza, a little Renaissance gem overlooking the Val d’Orcia, famous for its Pecorino di Pienza. We’ll meet with a producer or tour a cheese factory, followed by a tasting. Free time to explore the village and its small gourmet shops.

In the afternoon, explore the Eternal City with a stroll through the historic center to admire some of its iconic landmarks. You’ll have a little free time to enjoy the Italian atmosphere one last time.

At the end of the day, a farewell dinner at a Roman trattoria, featuring some of the capital’s culinary classics, such as cacio e pepe, amatriciana, and carbonara.
