ARRIVAL IN ARUSHA
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel.

ARUSHA / KARATU (140KM/02H30)
Breakfast.
Departure and bus transfer to Karatu. Karatu is strategically located between the Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara to the south, making it the gateway to the great parks of the north. It’s a warm little town, with its warm ochre and clay colors and the warm welcome of its inhabitants. Stroll through the local markets and pick up souvenirs such as small carved wooden ornaments or the brightly-colored “kanga” fabrics worn by Tanzanian women.
Lunch, dinner and overnight at KANKARI LODGE 3* (or similar)

KARATU
Breakfast.
Day at leisure at the hotel. Take advantage of the facilities and services offered by this former colonial coffee farm: relax by the pool, stroll through the lush, flower-filled garden or enjoy a relaxing massage (surcharge).

Breakfast at the lodge.
Day at leisure to take advantage of the lodge’s facilities or stroll along the main street, the Maasai’s meeting point for the market with its large herds of cows and goats.

KARATU / ARUSHA ZANZIBAR (140KM/02H30)
Breakfast.
Drive to Arusha airport, stop en route at a local handicraft center and visit a coffee plantation (depending on flight schedule), then fly to Zanzibar.
Picnic lunch. Arrive in Zanzibar, collect your luggage and transfer immediately to your hotel. Nicknamed the Spice Island, Zanzibar is a true haven of peace. Check into your hotel on a half-board basis.

ZANZIBAR
Breakfast.
A seaside stay on the island, where you can enjoy a heavenly setting. A day at leisure to relax on the white sandy beaches or wander through the clove-scented wilderness.

ZANZIBAR
Breakfast.
Your second day is free to wander the archipelago and admire the white sands. You’ll also have the chance to try your hand at water sports (extra charge, payable locally).
