Vancouver has something for everyone, whether you’re visiting historic Gastown, enjoying a meal in lively Yaletown or strolling along the Stanley Park seawall, all surrounded by the Coast Mountains and the Pacific Ocean.

Set off early in the morning aboard the Rocky Mountaineer from Vancouver to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia. Throughout the day, you’ll experience spectacular scenery, from the Fraser Valley to the winding forests and canyons bordered by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade Ranges, to the near-desert panoramas of the province’s interior.
Highlights include the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and tunnels along the Thompson River. Your day ends in the evening as the train skirts the shores of Kamloops Lake before entering the city.

Kamloops / Jasper
Early in the morning, your journey continues towards the majestic Canadian Rockies. You’re once again surrounded by spectacular scenery as you follow the banks of the North Thompson River through the Monashee and Cariboo mountains, gradually approaching the high peaks of the Continental Divide.
Highlights of the day include Mount Robson, at 3,954 metres (12,972 ft.) the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, Pyramid Falls and the ascent of Yellowhead Pass to Jasper National Park. Your train journey ends in the evening when you arrive in Jasper.

This morning, enjoy free time to explore the charming town of Jasper at your own pace. In the afternoon, discover the breathtaking beauty of Jasper National Park on a guided half-day excursion, including Patricia Lake, Jasper SkyTram and Pyramid Lake.

Jasper / Lake Louise
Travel from Jasper to Lake Louise along one of the world’s most spectacular routes, the Icefields Parkway. Highlights include Bow Lake, the Columbia Icefield, the Glacier Skywalk and Athabasca Falls.
The Columbia Icefield is one of the largest expanses of ice south of the Arctic Circle, and one of the most easily accessible in North America. You’ll board an Ice Explorer to reach the heart of the Athabasca Glacier and learn more about its geological features, before enjoying lunch at the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre. A brief stopover is then scheduled at Bow Lake before arriving in Lake Louise in the late afternoon.

Set off in the morning on the Rocky Mountaineer from Lake Louise to Kamloops. Along the way, you’ll see a succession of iconic glaciers, snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies, mountain passes, spectacular tunnels, rocky lakeshores and vast ranches.
Highlights of the day include the Continental Divide, Spiral Tunnels, Kicking Horse Canyon, Rogers Pass and Craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven. You’ll arrive in Kamloops in the evening.

Kamloops / Vancouver
Early in the morning, your journey continues westwards towards the Pacific Ocean and the city of Vancouver. Throughout the day, you’ll once again experience spectacular scenery, from the near-desert of British Columbia to the winding river canyons and unspoiled forests, to the Cascade and Coast Ranges and the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley.
Highlights include the steep slopes and tunnels along the Thompson River and the tumultuous waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Your train journey ends in the evening when you arrive in Vancouver.
