VENICE REGION

Participants arrive at Venice airport during the day and are greeted by our local correspondent, who will accompany you throughout your stay in Italy.

Transfer by private coach or minibus to your hotel in the Venice area.

VERONA - LAKE MAJOR

Lunch at the hotel, then departure for Verona.
A day dedicated to discovering the beautiful city of Verona. Guided tour of the city’s most important monuments: the Roman Arena (exterior), Via Mazzini, Piazza dei Herbi, Piazza dei Signori, the Arche Scaligere and, of course, the balcony of Juliet’s house, the Duomo (exterior) and the quays along the Adige river.
In the afternoon, free time to explore the city at your leisure.

Afternoon drive to Lake Maggiore.

the borromean islands and lake orta

Lunch at the hotel.

Morning excursion by private boat to the Borromean Islands, a small archipelago of three islands on Lake Maggiore, famous for their lush gardens and splendid scenery.

Stop off at Isola Bella to enter and visit Palazzo Borromeo, a veritable curiosity of Italian Baroque architecture, famous for its gardens and amphitheatre terrace. This immense palace is still home to the Borromeo family during the summer (the Medal Room, Napoleon’s room, the ‘grottos’).

Then a stop at Fishermen’s Island with its typical houses.

Dinner in a restaurant during the tour or at the hotel.

In the afternoon, excursion to Lake Orta, for a stroll through the pretty village of Orta San Giulio, with its narrow streets lined with old houses with elegant balconies. Then a boat trip to the island of San Giulio, with its beautiful basilica (exterior).

LAC de CÔME and SIRMIONE

Lunch at the hotel.

Full-day excursion to discover the “elegant” Lake Como. In the morning, visit the historic center of Como with a local guide: the beautiful 14th-century Dome with its remarkable, richly decorated facade and its interior with its magnificent tapestries, the Broletto, the former municipal palace, the church of San Fedele, the characteristic narrow streets of the center with their old houses…

Dinner in a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, drive to Lake Garda.

In the late afternoon, stop off in the pretty town of Sirmione, on the shores of Lake Garda, for a stroll through its historic center and the Scaliger family castle (exterior).

GARDE LAKE

Lunch at the hotel, then departure for a day trip to discover Lake Garda, the largest of Italy’s lakes.

Stop to visit some of the picturesque villages and their charming historic centers, as well as the authentic little ports on the shores of the lake, such as Lazise and Malcesine.

Dinner in a restaurant during the excursion.

In the afternoon, drive to South Tyrol towards the Dolomites region.

Lunch at the hotel.

The morning will be free for individual activities: a coffee in a village bistro, a short hike on the trails near the hotel or along the river, a visit to a cheese producer.

In the afternoon, our bus will take us up to Col Sella to admire the extraordinary 360° panorama of the Dolomite region and its surrounding peaks: Sassolungo, Sella, Pordoi, Marmolada…

THE DOLOMITES

Another day dedicated to discovering the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Along the way, we’ll have the chance to admire the region’s most important mountains: Civetta, Pelmo, Tofane… We’ll pass over the Falzarego pass before finally descending to Cortina.

NB: the day’s schedule may be subject to change depending on weather conditions (rain, snow) and road conditions.

Afternoon stop in Cortina for a stroll through the center of the ‘Pearl of the Dolomites’, discovering its elegant historic center. Cortina, which hosted the Olympic Games in 1956 and the World Ski Championships in 2021, will host the Olympic Games in 2026.

Late afternoon descent to the plain.
