Prague - Old Town

After lunch, departure for a 1/2-day tour of Prague’s Old Town.

Start your visit at the imposing Royal Palace, former residence of the Bohemian kings, where you can admire the famous Vladislav Hall and the history of royal power.

Continue on to the majestic St Vitus Cathedral, a Gothic masterpiece housing the crown jewels and the royal tomb.

Then discover the Basilica of St. George, the Romanesque jewel of the complex, renowned for its austere façade and peaceful atmosphere.

Finish your visit with the picturesque Golden Lane, a charming alley of colorful craftsmen’s houses, now transformed into small museums and boutiques, ideal for strolling and immersing yourself in Prague’s medieval ambience.

Each stage is just a few minutes’ walk from the other, allowing you to take full advantage of the historic site and its exceptional panoramas.

Prague - Castle

After lunch, departure for a 1/2-day visit to Prague Castle.

Start your visit to Prague Castle with the majestic entrance on Hradčanské Square, where the solemn welcome of the changing of the guard can set the tone for your discovery. The lively ceremony takes place every day at noon with pomp and circumstance, complete with military fanfare, in front of the Royal Palace, while simple sentry changes take place every hour from 7am.

Cross the first courtyard, lined with Baroque statues and historic facades. This vast space, bathed in light, reveals the full power and architectural beauty of the château, offering an ideal vantage point from which to admire the details of the monumental portals and feel the soul of the place that once welcomed kings, emperors and their retinues.

Prague - Brno - Vienna

This morning, after breakfast, departure for Vienna.

En route, we’ll visit Brno, a charming Czech city, blending modernism and tradition.

Start at the central square, Náměstí Svobody (Freedom Square), the lively soul of Brno with its historic facades, cafés and famous modern astronomical clock. Climb up to St. Peter and St. Paul’s Cathedral, perched on Petrov Hill, to admire its Gothic exterior, Baroque interior and panoramic view of the city.

Then head for Špilberk Castle, a former fortress and state prison, now a city museum and an ideal park for a stroll offering superb views of Brno and the surrounding area. Head back down to Zelný trh (Vegetable Market Square), famous for its atmosphere and colorful stalls, then visit the historic town hall with its twisted portal and, if possible, climb its tower for a picturesque view of the center.

You’ll pass through most of the historic heart, alternating between monuments, lively squares, shopping streets and viewpoints, for a varied and enjoyable discovery.

Vienna - Old Town

After lunch, departure for a 1/2-day walking tour of Vienna’s Old Town.

Start at the Hofburg, imperial palace and historic heart of the Habsburgs, then walk to St. Stephen’s Cathedral on Stephansplatz.

Stroll along the Graben and stop off at a Viennese café for a pastry.

Admire the State Opera House, then stroll along the Ring, the boulevard of great monuments (Parliament, City Hall).

Dinner at leisure, then back to the hotel.

Vienne - Viennese Forest

After lunch, departure for a day trip to the southern part of the Vienna Woods.

The southern part of the Vienna Woods abounds in fin-de-siècle villas, medieval, Renaissance and Baroque towns, hiking trails, heurige (wineries) and spas. You’ll discover a landscape where nature and architectural heritage blend harmoniously, offering plenty of opportunities for walks, tastings of local wines in friendly establishments, and moments of relaxation and well-being.

Above all, this region allows you to discover a local way of life different from that of Vienna, which has left a deep impression on many of its inhabitants. It’s an invitation to enjoy an authentic experience, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, and to encounter a rich, unspoilt regional culture, steeped in the winemaking traditions and conviviality typical of this part of Austria.

Vienna - Brastislava

After lunch, departure for Bratislava, 1h30 away.

Guided tour of the city.

Start at St. Michael’s Gate, an iconic medieval vestige, and follow the street of the same name to explore the historic center (Staré Mesto).

Stroll around the main square (Hlavné námestie), the lively heart of the old town, then admire the Primasial Palace and its superb halls.

Pass by the many bronze statues and be charmed by the architectural diversity, before reaching the stunning Blue Church (St. Elisabeth), famous for its unique façade.

Visit St. Martin’s Cathedral, rich in history, then climb up to Bratislava Castle for panoramic views of the Danube and the city.

Finally, cross the SNP Bridge and climb up to UFO, the panoramic rooftop restaurant, for a last look at Bratislava.

Start with Buda Castle and the Fishermen’s Bastion for a panoramic view of the Danube, cross the Chain Bridge to Pest and then discover St. Stephen’s Basilica and the Hungarian Parliament on the banks of the river.

Finish off at the Szécheny or Gellért baths for a typical spa experience before enjoying the lively Jewish Quarter and its ruin pubs.

Budapest - Lake Balaton

After lunch, departure for a day trip to Lake Balaton.

Start in Balatonfüred, a charming resort renowned for its Tagore promenade, thermal baths and old houses.

Head for the Tihany peninsula to admire the panoramic view over the lake and visit the Benedictine abbey perched high above the lavender fields.

Stop off at Badacsony to discover the vineyards and taste the local white wines while enjoying the view of the lake from the volcanic mountain.

Continue on to Keszthely to admire the baroque Festetics castle and stroll through its park and historic center.

Finish off in Hévíz to visit the thermal spa with its famous lake of naturally warm waters.
